Morine Trucking and Construction, Inc. is a professional transportation provider specializing in flatbed freight. We also provided dry van and refrigerated capabilities. We aid and assist small and major organizations in achieving safe, effective and stabilized logistic solutions in a continuously changing environment.

MTC, Inc. was founded in 2001, as a need to create a bridged solution in the trucking between industry leaders and minority companies diligently seeking a solid relationship. MTC, Inc. is currently creating a program that can be integrated into small company programs that will overly satisfy the needs of major (and smaller) customers.

MTC, Inc. is dedicated to providing the logistical solutions that will merge and satisfy the needs of government, state and local agencies in relation to minority trucking companies. We welcome partnering opportunities with governmental markets as well as the private sector.

MTC, Inc. is a small family ran business that understands the necessity of diversity in the transportation industry that can only be achieved by truly creating an arena of inclusion and not one of illusions.

Morine Trucking and Construction, Inc. started off as Morine Trucking. In 1998, the first truck was purchased and leased to a large carrier. Although, being a lease driver created the personal financial growth unseen as a company driver, there was more out there. I, then, lease to a smaller carrier (close to home) and realized that still, there was more out there. In 2001, Morine Trucking was incorporated to form Morine Trucking and Construction, Inc.

Over the years of positive and prosperous growth, I was faced with the constant situation of being asked to teach or train drivers. I was approached by other small carriers with questions on safety issues, DOT issues, loading and unloading issues and a host of others. I teamed up with my father, who had over 40 years in the trucking and construction industries. During the years to come, we were asked to train people on ground and safety operations of earth moving equipment. In early 2005 Morine Trucking and Construction, Inc. decided to transition in to a training facility for individuals (and companies) that desire to enter in to the trucking and construction fields. Directly after Hurricane Katrina, (OCT. 2005) we trained individuals to drive tractor-trailers, “for free” (in Opelousas. La), so that may enter the work force as soon as they possible could. The “transition” began at this point. In Dec. 2005, my father succumbed to cancer, which brought the transition to a complete halt. Between 2005 and 2008, I reconstructed the direction in which the company was to grow.

Morine Trucking and Construction, Inc., fully intend to create a state of the art training facility unlike any other in the country. The transportation and construction fields are both equally exciting and lucrative fields. Morine Trucking and Construction, Inc., is in the business of putting YOU in business. We will take the novice and train them to become professional operators of commercial transportation and/or earth moving equipment. Our next step is to take the operator, if they so desire, and prepare them to become self employed. Morine Trucking and Construction, Inc. is positioning it’s self to be able offer graduated students (that have acquired proficient time served experience) in obtaining their own operating equipment. We will be able to provide our customers with a database of transportation vendors with exact abilities, skills and experiences.
